Homebase store closing discount - 52% off

There was a post sometime back about Homebase
closing its stores. They have been increasing
their discounts slowly.

FYI, currently the discount is 40% off plus an
additional 20% off thru jun 3.
(This was in seattle area stores, i assume other
stores have the same discount)

BTW, Homebase is an home improvement store
similar to home depot but with higher prices.

Most good stuff is probably gone by now, but u
may still snag a bargain or two.

Yah. Home base is converting to House to Home. You could pick up some really good bargains. Go on the last 3 days if possible. They're really gonna cut prices then.

Maybe should start a thread on store closings. I just saw a Strouds close and they had some stuff marked 90% off.

Then on the last day, the guy told me, whatever you can fit in a basket is $25

Here in Las Vegas, the Homebase converted to House2Home. I can't believe how busy they've become. Pretty neat store, too.

Hm!

In my experience HomeBase was usually cheaper than HomeDepot.
But than again maybe that was just me. I wonder which states
still have a HomeBase open.
