Not bad, with a name like Homedics and Plaque Remover, I thought it'd be some kinda heart artery cleaning device at first, heh

They also have a Sonic Wave Toothbrush for only $14.99 (list $59.99), which is 75% off.

If you need a power toothbrush HoMedics you got to avoid, Braun is not good too (same as HoMedics but has bigger lifetime), another brand that sells one that looks good and has many small brushes that rotate is bad too, trust me I tried them all that exist. There is only 1 brush that works and that would be Sonicare, it is very expensive it starts at $60 I believe or $70 for personal edition but it's the only one that works. It's expensive but it works I gurantee you I been trying to find an ultimate brush for many years and I came to the solution of Sonicare. Homedics is a waste of $20 it has many flaus not counting that it does nothing, 1st of all its not sealed so the water gets inside the brush and it starts to rust and die slowly, 2nd it has very short battery life, 3rd it doesn't do anything, it may be good for someone with very expensive car to polish wheels on it if they have 2-3 days to spare per wheel (size). So if you want to take care of your teeth Sonicare is the only way to go, I recharge it once a month and have no problems with it, it saved me many cavities even thought I brush once a day, when I used to brush with a regular brush I accuried 6 cavites, 3 that were 99.9% root canal but the family friend docotor spend 1-2 hours per cavity to make them not root canal and then I couldn't use those teeth for 3 month. Now I use sonicare and I'm all good for 1 year
So there.
Enjoy.

I would definitely stay away from Homedics.

But I really like my Braun.
I think it really depends. I brush twice a day (sometimes once... shame!) and I haven't had any cavities (barring a recent tiny one that the dentist said was unavoidable) in 22 years. So your personal hygiene/diet has a lot to do with it.

The Sonicare is pretty badass, but I think Braun is great, too. I remember reading somewhere, though, that a study showed there was no evidence that a brush moving that fast did anything more for your teeth. It is a great brush, though.

Check epinions.

I used to think Braun is good. Until I realized how quickly it drains the battery and how quickly the brush heads wears out. If you don't replace the brush heads in like every 3 weeks instead of every 3 months for a normal toothbrush, you won't get the clean feeling that you get with a new brush head. I been working my way up in terms of electric toothbrush. I started with the Crest Spinbrush, which is really no difference than a normal toothbrush. I then moved up to the Braun, and I guess I am moving on to the Homedics right now. I saw great reviews from ppl who brought it from Amazon so I thought I might as well check out this toothbrush. I guess I shoulda check the forums first. But It's not like I am buying this toothbrush for it to last. It's only $15 after shipping (i had a $5 gc) so i didn't lose too much.

P.S. I brought the 14.99 one, not the 9.99 one.

We've tried all the electric toothbrushes in our house---Sonicare, Braun, and Homedics. For my money, the Sonicares clean my teeth the best. However, I find the other ones are ideal for kids, especially if they include a built-in timer since my kids will do anything to minimize tooth-brushing time. My kids tried my Sonicare and found the vibration overwhelming for their mouths. They've done very well, however, with the low-end Braun units. YMMV.
