Anyone know when this bike is coming to the North American market?

Neat video and all, but who precisely is this type of a bike supposed to impress?

No one. Not every form of motorcycling is built around impressing other people with a lifestyle statement.
There is something pure about the air-cooled Japanese 4 cylinder bikes. Especially a Honda. They don't have the "hurry up" of a sport bike, the "look how bad-ass I am" image of a cruiser, or the added weight and gadgetry of a touring bike. They are the type of machine that disappears under you. They do everything so well and so elegantly, you don't have to think about operating controls or how you are going to attack the next curve.
One of the first (and best) bikes i have ever owned was a 1978 CB750K. My senses still remember the "buzz" of the motor through the bars and pegs, the smell of the engine on a hot day, and the view off simple analog gauges and a chrome headlamp from the cockpit. The bike was almost 20 years old when I got it, and it still looked and rode like new.
Also if I remember correct from threads on this over on vintage CB forums, the asking price is a bit of a shocker, or at least is to someone used to 30 year old bikes.
