<< But honestly, I have to wonder about it, because all I ever get is the cold shoulder. >>

Perhaps you are trying to hard to impress the 'chicks'.
I can't speak for the entire female population, but to me you 'look' like a visually attractive person. So hang in there !

I dunno... maybe I just suck at hitting on girls. I don't try to impress them... just be myself, smile, and try to talk to them like they're people. You'd think at 24 years old I could at least get over shyness, but nope, doesn't happen. Sigh.

In non-Westernized countries, eating disorders are not a problem.

Plumpness is an attractive and desirable trait because people associate the extra weight with prosperity, fertility, success and economic security.

In poorer countries, an obese body is considered healthy because fat deposits are good for surviving times when food is scarce and because people have to have a considerable amount of money in order to afford food. Thin people are considered malnourished and diseased.

as mentioned before, i think?

the deeper the cushion, the sweeter the pushing. My baby fits me like a pink tuxedo, i wanna sink her with muh, pink torpedo. big bottoms, big bottoms, talk about mudflaps my girls got em.... allright sorry i had a little spinal tap rant. Overweight overweight = bad, little extra baggage isn't bad at all. I do know, that if i'm gunna be in shape, i want someone else that is in shape.

<< Well, I guess if you were making millions as an NFL player it might change things. >>

Thats a fantastic idea!!!!... oh wait a sec.... don't those guys wear padding an helmets?... can I play without em or are there some kinda regulations

And BTW.... don't worry about getting the cold shoulder... women are like that in general... our own fault really they're too used to be harassed so they won't talk to you unless they're incredibly attracted to you, let their guards down accidentaly, are considered unattractive by men(thereby not harassed), or they deem you a non-threat i.e. have a GF or is GAY...

<< so, anyone attracted to this woman? >>

Maybe not, but it doesn't make her any less worthy of being loved, does it?

That picture is actually a video clip of her dancing and showing off her body for the camera...

That's unfortunately one very UNhealthy woman. :Q This is what's called morbid obesity, call the coroner's office and have 'em on red alert - she'll be in after the next Big Mac.
(No, the buRger comment was unfair - she could very well have some sort of dysfunction somewhere, as opposed to a simply overactive mouth gland.)
She's gotta' see a doctor and get on a health regime quick or she won't live to see 40 or 50.
That kind of unhealth is hard to find attractive - no matter how deserving anyone is of love.

I will not deny that there are certain physical attributes that appeal to me, but that is not what makes a person desireable. What and who a person is inside reflects in their outward appearance and that is what makes them desireable. For some, maybe it is a maturity thing.

<< (women who say they dig fat guys are either liars or have weird emotional problems that need to be dealt with). >>

I may be the exception (and there is always an exception) but given the choice I would choose a heavier guy than a average to smaller guy. I think its because I feel more secure with a bigger guy but in any case....I don't think this qualifies me as a person with weird emotional problems. I really take offense to that statement.

Overweight, underweight, normal weight, male, female... All repulsive. Human bodies are loathsome in appearance. As for "taking care" of the body: FVCK THAT. I want nothing more then to be rid of this carbon bag of water. It's a drain on my time, I have to feed it, clothe it, bathe it, put it to sleep. What a waste. Biology has played its part, it has developed mind, now we need to get out of these piles of rotting meat. Personally, I think obesity is great, it will provide the impetus to develop artificial containers for the mind, until a way to free the mind from a container is found.

In social psych literature, people are more likely to rate attractive people as having desirable personality traits. It's something about physical appearance that makes people's image of them generalize to their whole self.

Thinness is not universally regarded as sexy, only in societies with an abundance of food. What are universally considered desirable traits in women (this is from research, not from observation) is youthful features ('babyfaced'), a waist to hips ratio of 0.7 (maximizes fertility) and among other things, body symmetry.

Personally I can't deny that I find thinner women more attractive (in general). But one of my closest friends is not thin (not large either, I'd say about 140-150 lbs) and I consider her attractive and desirable because she and I are so alike.
