Honesty please, Are overweight people (women) undesireable?

If a woman can't take care of herself enough to keep a decent weight, then I don't want anything to do with her. It's not hard to stay decently thin. It's simple mathematics of calories, metabolism, and exercise.

I gained 25 pounds my freshman year, and so far i've lost 15 my first month home. I don't starve myself, I just eat more fruit and lift weights an hour a day. It's actually a lot easier to lose weight than I had originally thought. The rest will be gone before next year, so I can slack off, drink beer and eat pizza and gain some more.

Why should a fat woman be attractive? We're talking about physical traits here, so set personality aside. If she's a tub of lard, she's a tub of lard. A very skinny girl can be just as unattractive as an overweight one, though.

Personally I think the best looking women are the ones that are IN GOOD SHAPE. Who will provide the best sex? A skinny/fat out of shape woman, or someone who exercises regularly and maintains their body? I wonder. As for personality traits, this is not related to physical attributes. Someone can be attractive via personality, and still be physically unattractive, and someone can be "MEGA-HOT" and be dumb as a doorknob and therefore be unattractive.

I seem to think as long as they weight less than me it's ok. Even within 10-15% variance on the top side (no pun intendid) However if she weights more than 115% of my weight it starts to get kinda weird. Besides slightly overweight isn't bad it's when they are really big that it gets unattractive. Like everyhting in life it is moderation. One thing i have noticed is that even plumper women as long as the breasts are bigger than the gut it's no big deal. It's when the belly stick out furhter than the bust that is think it gets unatractive.

Well sorry to say but if a chick is taller then me (i'm 6'1) it's almost a definate no. And if they are shorter then like 5'2 i'm not attracted either. I mean they could be hot and stuff but I wouldn't want to marry them or anything.

Sorry dude but I want to be physically attracted to my life partner, just because i'm not attracted the way you are doesn't mean i'm fvcking ignorant, i'm pretty sure even if you met the most stimulating women of non physical attractions, but she was 5 foot and weighed 200 pounds you wouldn't really consider her for marriage.

As for society critizing my choice in women...well f*ck 'em...it's me that has to be happy with her not society. Society bites. Little skinny toothpick girls are ugly. Get some meat on that frame.

as harsh as that statement sounds, it is true.

I may be a hypocrite for having this opinion because I used to be overweight and I used to blame it on poor metabolism or genes or anything I could think of. Then I smartened up and lost a ton of weight..all I had to do was work for it. Was it hard? yes.....but the funny thing is, everyone in here is talking about how men are brainwashed and only care for the skinny chicks? Well, it works both ways. After I lost weight suddenly girls pay attention to you. It's sad but true. In general, overweight people are not physically attractive, male or female. Of course there is always exceptions, but I'm talking about in general here.

Love makes anyone beatiful... If you cannot understand that you are way to immature to be thinking about marriage...

If a girl is 5'1 and lovable she is a good person (translation for immature people, she is a person you want to see more of).... If a girl is 5'8 and a total self centered person who only sees you as an object, then she might be a great one night stand, but for marriage, i'd say, she is not worth my time....

Then i'd move on to the next girl. I'm not sure what gave you the idea that just because she may be the right height and weight doesn't mean i'd automatically want her.

No, they're not. My last date was overweight but I wasn't embarressed to be seen with her - she was good company. It didn't work out because she wouldn't let it but that has nothing to do with me being attracted to her and such

And how are you ever going to fall in love with someone if there is no initial attraction? I totally agree that love can make someone look gorgeous to you no matter what they look like, but there has to be some initial attraction in most cases.

No, I'd say you were pretty muscular. What's your point? By overweight I mean fat...yes, FAT, not muscle.

EDIT: do i smell BS? I've seen some pretty damn muscular people who weigh around 220 and are taller than you...so either you are exaggerating or you can bench 500+ pounds.

hypothetical situation -
2 females with the exact same intelligence, personaliy, etc except for weight/size.
one who's excessively overweight, and one more towards the norm. I think it's pretty safe to say that the majority of people would choose the thinner one, unless they have some kind of fettish with obese women.

and it does depend on who you're asking as well. some people like 'em extra big (not me).
