We're getting married in early May, but I still haven't figured out exactly what we should do for our honeymoon. The tricky part, aside from needing to be somewhat conservative with vacation days, is that we also are trying to make a wedding in St John at the end of June. We'd like to be there by Thursday, though early Friday is acceptable. Of course we're trying to keep the budget as reasonable as possible.
Does anyone have any ideas on something that we could do in the region? Some thoughts we've had:
1) Do a cruise in the area that ends up somewhere in the area. My guess is that cruises don't end on a Wed or Thurs, so this may be difficult.
2) Tour a few random countries (other than Cuba, Venezuela, Columbia, etc), then fly over in time. Obviously requires more elaborate planning but could be really cool.
3) Spend money on hookers and blow.
