Worst search ever. If you search for "Puzzle Quest" you get the sequel only. If you search for "PuzzleQuest" you get both games. I had thought I couldn't get the old game because of my region and almost bought it for $20 from D2D.

I loved this game last year, but impatient me had to mod my spells to hurry the game up. Its actually pretty easy as IIRC all the data files are txt docs. I made stun cost only 1 red mana and i went on a rampage after that.

Hence my bump on page 1. Critics didn't care for it very much but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's not as good as CotW, but I don't play puzzle games often so it's nice just to be back in the genre. At least my expectations for Puzzle Kingdoms is tempered somewhat.

ED: and now for likely my last .02, Galactrix gets old quick. Played for a bunch of hours today and the core gameplay just isn't as much fun as CotW. Oh well.

game is a decent time killer, I have it on my iPod Touch and play it a few minutes here and there.

been playing the original again lately and i have ot say i think the game cheats! every time it's the ai's turn, he gets at least 1 4 in a row!! hell, it seems like every time i end my turn it sets him up with a 4 in a row. he usually gets like 2 or 3 4 in a rows every turn!

i don't know i'f i;m doing something wrong, because it seems like i run into enemies that i can't kill a lot.

Thanks for the tip OP, I downloaded the demo and have enjoyed it so far.

Now a question, is this game really hard or am I just soft in the head? I think I'm a level 5 trying to do the patrol quest where the skeleton (I think that's what it is) blocks your return path. That guy slaughters me over and over again I get close to killing him, but I always end up losing.

Quick Steam question: If I buy this on my Steam account, can someone be playing PuzzleQuest on another computer in the house, while I'm playing a different game, like TF2 or something else on the same Steam account? Does Steam allow multiple games to be running on different computers at once from one account, as long as the same game isn't being played at two places at once?
