PS+ Members can grab this game for $28 digitally and the Frozen Wilds expansion is $15. Can't wait to dive back into this world on Tuesday. I'm already pre-loaded for the expansion.

Seems highly likely, the game is quite old now and probably has sold as many copies as it's ever going to. There's no multiplayer to keep it relevant either.

It's actually on ebay for under $30

I will probably get the DLC at some point. This game was too good to not play the DLC. Haven't enjoyed such an immersive single player game in such a long time. The graphics are just stunning.

Not giving anything away, but the first new beast I encountered killed me with 2 hits. They also raised the level to 60. I assume so you can get new skills.

Yeah, the reviews I read said the DLC is a lot harder. Mainly to make you feel as vulnerable again as you did when you first started the game.

I don't mean that it should have MP so don't misunderstand. I just mean that after 8 months and no MP to keep sales going or keep the fanbase going it's probably not going to see a huge sales boost and the price should drop pretty significantly as it has for PSN+ members buying digitally.

Yep. Playing the DLC from my last save that was already completed with everything at Game+ Ultra Hard mode. Should be an awesome challenge!

I still haven't finished it... I'm so slow. After I bought the Switch I kept playing that and haven't finished HZD yet. It's not that I don't like it, I just have a horrible habit of never finishing games.

Base game is $20 right now at Best Buy. Pretty much a must buy at that price for anyone who hasn't picked it up yet. This is easily my #2 for GOTY (with NieR Automata my #1).

True. I'm on my sixth play thru. Started the frozen wilds last night on game+ ultra hard. Played so much previously that I already had 64 points and instantly unlocked all of the new skills!

You'd have to price match I'd guess. Almost every time I buy something in store at Best Buy I make them price match their online price. I'm not sure if they'd do it for something sold out online though.

I've done this with best buy for almost every item I wanted quickly that I found on Amazon cheaper.

Amazon was actually selling the game for $20 too this morning until Best Buy sold out online. Then it immediately went back up to normal price on Amazon.
