Hornets nest. [w/pic]

My buddy at work found this at his house today. He said he sprayed an entire can of hornet killer with it to no effect.

Should he just call the pro's? id is there something he can do himself??

dude i took an old watergun i had (supersoaker 1000c or something) and i filled it up with hot water and soap and blasted that motherfucker. just knock it down with a room and run inside until the hornets leave then go back out later.

I used it on wasp nest 10' off the ground and that solved my problem in 2 minutes...

The first thing i'd suggest is a shotgun..other than the fact that it's attached to his house.

Honestly Here is what I would do..

Get some hornet spray.. Spray down the next.. Wait for most of the evil fcukers to die.. Then get my stick with screwdriver taped to the end and knock it down.

1. Get hose
2. Aim for base
3. Open fire
4. Run like hell
5. check it out a couple of hours later.

take a metal trash can, fill with a couple of inches of gas.
stick can up to soffit, shove to jar nest loose, quickly slam on lid.
wait 15 minutes.
crack open lid, toss in a match.

works like a champ.
