screwdriver wouldnt do crap to it except put a tiny little hole on it.. just like try to make it fall to the ground and run like hell, come back 15 minutes later and quickly grab it and throw it as far away from your porch or wherever it is as possible.. Repeat as necessary to get it off your grass and all.. and THEN apply the WD40, bug spray, RAID, etc, then blast it with fire so that you dont burn your house or lawn lol

Funny you should mention that. We used to spray spiders with spray glue (aerosol can) and once it dries, they are mummified. Good idea though!

You have to open up the hive before you spray..

Use either soccer ball or basketall and break the hive. Once the hive is broken, spray the inside and kill all the hornets..

The spray works on contact, but you have to make the contact.

I had a similar problem once...not NEARLY as big.

Get the glue that you can spray out of a can, and start spraying them. Then watch all the hornets fall with their wings glued together

I work on a golf course and take care of stuff like that all the time.

I just put on full rain gear + gloves + mask, grab a garbage bag, grab the nest with my hands, put in the bag, tie it up. You can then shake the bag to hear them get all pissed off. It's great.

What I also do sometimes is just knock the nest down with a pole pruner. Once it's on the ground they pretty much leave it alone. You can then go in with a garbage can and shovel.

That stuff is crap then. We have some stuff called Bug-B-Gone at work. It can knock a hornet out of the air, and it's completely disabled by the time it hits the ground. It twitches for 3-4 seconds, and then that's it.
