Just an update...installed Intel Pro/1000 XT 64-bit card into the server. Using the onboard 3Com on my Abit KV8-Max3, Sandra gives me scores between 28-42. Good enough for me! Copying files to the server is MUCH faster than before.

Thanks for all the help.... Trendware cards were sent back to NewEgg, just received refund.
