Why do people keep buying SCA drives? SCA drives are made to plug directly into a backplane in a server or array chassis.
Anyway, you need a SCSI adapter. The Adaptec 19160 will set you back about $180. Tekram has one for about $135. THEN you need to purchase an 80-pin SCA adapter to 68-pin adapter and make SURE it is Ultra2/Ultra160 compatible. (many aren't) That'll run you about $20. The adapter will allow you to set the SCSI ID and connect a drive power connector to it as both are supplied to the drive via the SCA adapter. THEN you need an Ultra2 or Ultra160 cable that has the terminator on the end, unless that adapter comes with it. (OEM flavors usually don't the Adaptec retail ones do - don't know about Tekram) Figure about $40 for that.
