Do you always have to be so patronizing, it's not really a quality that endears people to your opinions.
Here is the reddit thread on this with live updates.

Thanks.
And just to stir things up in here, because I can't resist:
Good thing guns got banned in Australia so somebody in the store could have stopped this... OH wait....
;D
Well, as you probably know, whenever there is a mass shooting or such, in the US. Most of the posts here (and first thoughts of a lot of the posters) is about gov coming to take their guns away. Instead of any concern for the victims
So is anybody here actually concerned about the hostages, or just whether they can argue their agenda effectively?
That's because among most left wing idiots, whenever there's some shooting or event, their first thought is how to exploit it to have the government restrict people's rights.

All three are examples of state enforced discrimination, yet the phony liberal, apologists consider one to be multiculturalism that should be tolerated and not questioned and the phony conservatives excuse it as long as the oil flows.
The suspected jihadist holding up to 15 people hostage in a Sydney cafe is an Iranian facing murder and sex assault charges who is also known for sending hate mail to the families of Australian soldiers killed overseas, police confirmed.
So, you're in the thread arguing against bigotry yet you have no qualms about displaying your own. :thumbsup:Most mass shooters and serial killers are Americans, most of them are right wing

Yes it is crying racism, because last time I checked Obama never had a round table discussion with any white police officer, yet he was quick to have a round table discussion with the black community represented by people inciting protests. Double standards don't do anything to endear people to a community who can overreact and destroy public property whenever they don't like something and get away with no consequences. The same thing happens here every time someone says anything about Muslims.
These sensitive ethnics are just simply wearing thin to be perfectly honest.
It's comments like this that start to become irritating because you would think by now, as a 49 year old man with all the success he has had that Chris Rock would have moved beyond judging people solely on race.
"All girls. I mean, I almost cry every day. I drop my kids off and watch them in the school with all these mostly white kids, and I got to tell you, I drill them every day: Did anything happen today? Did anybody say anything? They look at me like I am crazy."

It's not just Rock but a whole host of African American celebrities who are making remarks like this that seem innocent, but when you really think about it one has to wonder what more America can do to appease their feelings, it seems electing a black president just doesn't seem to be enough. One then asks themselves the question if their motives are genuine or if it has just turned into a blame game for them where their is no real tangible issue apart from imagined racism in their own minds.
It's also difficult to take you seriously when you preach love and light yet have someone holding a gun as your avatar.
America is a stable constant, it's not perfect but it's a damn lot better than any other alternative out their.
Criticizing America makes it sound like you have never lived overseas. I lived in Accra for two years. I still remember once leaving the airport and a Ghanaian baggage handler stole my packet of tic tacs, as if because I was white I owned him something simply because of the colour of my skin, while completely forgetting it was the King of Ghana who agreed to sell his people to the Americans.
It this mindset that really frustrates me and when I hear people giving others a hard time for simply expressing an opinion and then to imply they are being racist simply for having an opinion, with no evidence that they have done anything to actively insight racism or violence towards anyone, it really annoys me. Ok rant over.
How silly of me a to think an invisible white male could have the capacity to have an opinion without being labelled a racist. So predictable and tiring.
It's getting to a point that I wonder why society is constantly bringing up the race debate again, and again, and again, that is what I find odd.
I was talking about Rocks opinions in the context of his age, he is 49, and in the context of his success. Your trying to take my point out of context. I am questioning why someone of that age with that level of success is still hung up on race. That he is still only seeing race when he looks at someone, young children in this case, and not seeing people just simply as people is what I find bizarre and concerning.
Would the airport staffer have stolen the tic tacs if I was an African American?
That example was my attempt to put light on the fact that racism can go both ways. Perhaps it was an odd example. Maybe you should go live in Ghana for two years and see if you can come back with a different opinion on my erroneous observation that having white skin is irrelevant over their.
I sincerely doubt that the airport staffer was stealing your tic-tacs in order to get revenge for the legacy of slavery.
