So here's my question, which is directed at McDealer, as it seems that you are an employee....
Since I switched to my current host, I've been missing some emails. I didn't know why until today, when the tech guy figured out the problem. I sell a lot of items on eBay, and accept PayPal as payment. When people go to the "ask seller a question" page in my auctions, or send me a payment via PayPal, the emails do not show up. The reason for this is that they are coming from ebay/PayPal, but they are setup so that a reply will go to the sender, not back to eBay/PayPal. My hosts email filter is detecting this as spam, and the messages are getting returned to the sender. From what I understand, there is nothing they can do about this. So, it looks like I'm going to be in the market for new hosting. Can you assure me 100% that I wouldn't have this problem with you? If so, we may be doing business.
Thanks!

I'm not only an employee, I'm the owner
As for your email situation - are you saying that your current host is actually filtering your email so that you're NOT getting it at all? If so, thats definately a bad thing. I never advocate a host completely taking responsibility for DROPPING emails completely. In the DirectAdmin control panel, you control SpamAssassin settings - you can filter any messages that come IN marked as spam in a number of different ways - all pretty clearly laid out and explained. If you dont understand part of it, our forums or a helpdesk ticket will help explain things.
We do NOT filter out completely any emails - we don't drop any emails. there's one exception to this - and it's a user controlled option. If you have your account configured to DROP mail not addressed to a user on your domain, it will be dropped - but again, thats a setting that you would have to specifically enable.
Can I guarantee 100% you won't have this problem? No - nobody can. There's too many factors involved, including Paypal not sending notices correctly, or timely - like when they had their server issues a couple weeks ago. User settings, accounts you setup, etc - can all contribute to a possibility that it'll get lost. I can promise you that we will not intentionally drop any mail for any account, and if a setting you have IS dropping mail, we'll help you identifyit. I'd suggest trying our service for 30 days, and keeping your old host active (even though the domain dns gets transferred to us). If it doesn't work out for you - take advantage of our 30 day money back guarantee.
