Sorry, but Skyhawk cases are crap. Everyone says so. Look at the side window fan. It's crooked! That's horrible workmanship.

For $30? Mmm...I could buy this as a case for the comp I plan to build for my sister (possibly). It can be "crap" but for $30, as long as it holds a motherboard and doesn't completely fall apart I'd be fine with that. Those are the primary functions of a case hehe...

Everyone?...I have a Skyhawk and I love it...And there are 2 other poeple posting before me saying they love their Skyhawk case too...so I would not think that everyone says they are crap...in fact you might be one of the few to hate the case.

The thing is, compared to a P180 or Thermaltake Tsunami I'd probably hate it too but for christ sake this thing is a forth of the price of those? No comparison needed. Out of all the cheapo cases it looks pretty solid to me...

Yeah...but you can't use thoes 550W psu's...unless you are running a system that you want to catch on fire...have you ever held one of thoes PSU's?...they weigh about 1/5 what a Antec PSU weights...lol


And thoes cases are truly cheap cases...Skyhawk cases are nice/much better made and don't smash when you sit on them.

That side panel fan can be rotated, IIRC. I'd be more concerned about the acrylic front panel being obviously cracked. Still, been over this before, these 1.2mm Skyhawk cases are a reasonable deal. Not everyone is willing to pay for $100-200 cases and for $30 this is HOT!

pennywise pound foolish. your sister? i guess she or your parents will pay. why not get a sonata then? you get a reliable and powerful/quiet high quality psu included. and the case is silent, and very easy to work in. i doubt your sister upgrades much so it'll last for years, and the pc won't crash because of some shady psu...or be loud as #@%

Well i am sorry if any thing happened bad with you guys in respect of bad powersupply (or cheap). I have been using a AMAMAX cases with their powersupplies for quite a while now and never had any problem. I have two computer running on their power supply for about an year almost now.

1. AMD 3200+ socket 754 running at 2.3GHZ

2. AMD 3000+ socket 939 running at 2.6GHZ (E6)
6600GT
DVD RW
160GB HARD DRIVE.
1GB RAM


I know those powersuplies are cheap, but if you buy a 600Watts powersupply from them it will at least give you reliable 300watts which is i think good for $3 extra

But risks are yours, i am just telling you my experience, but don;t buy it because i told you.

Buy it at your own risk, i am just trying to spread the word for the people who cannot afford $100 powersupply.
