tehehe this would be a good case to build a PC for someone else with...
Myself, I stupidly bought an Antec TruePower 550 because I thought my CPU wasn't OCing well because it wasn't getting enough juice(stupid Epox board doesn't have an aux power connector for P4's...) but it turns out the CPU just didn't want to clock higher(either that or the lack of an aux connector hurts more than Epox thought).

And I had a perfectly find 350Watt Enhance unit too. At least the 550 Truepower should last me until the 5Ghz CPUs are out lol!

Question for anyone who got this case recently --

What are you sending as the UPC code for the rebate ? I have looked and looked and still can't find a UPC code on the box !

Just that little white tag on the box. There's no real upc for it.

According to the rebate form they want the bar code label. The bar code label is probably for their inventory tracking. They did not specify UPC. Since this is not a retail box you will not find a UPC label.

If anyone ever gets their rebate, please post. I know this thread will be long gone by then but I will try.

Thanks DaHan and Lanyap ! You both are right. I also called Compgeeks and one very helpful guy checked and confirmed that the little sticky with the barcode from the top of the box is what we need to send with the rebate form.

Thanks all !

Can you please confirm what the sticker says? My sticker is on the side so I was curious. (I think it is the sticker)

Also, by receipt does that mean I send the invoice that came in my box?

You don't give up, do you FluxCap? I couldn't respond earlier, as all I had access to was AOL over the weekend.

Yes, send the invoice as the receipt and the sticker was on the side of the box.

Well, I finally got off my lazy butt and put together my AMD XP 1700+ @ 1833 w/ Ti4200. The only thing is, with the side cover on, my system is idling at 40 degrees Celcius! When I take the side cover off, it drops to about 32-33 degrees. I think this case could use a couple more case fans, but it doesn't support any more, except for the included neon one, which is pretty cool by the way. Oh well, still not too bad for the money.

My personal gripe is with how they set up the 3.5" bays. If they are going to the trouble of letting us put fans in front of the HDs, they could leave a little more room in between for air movement.

I noticed that too. I don't have it around, but from what I remember seeing, it looked difficult to get the fans in place in the front panel. The front panel didn't look like it was meant to be removed either, because it was fastened in by plastic connected to the steel case. Are fans going to have be squeezed in the fitting from the top down or is it okay to remove the front cover?

The snap out expansion bays were disappointing too. I will probably take those out and put in some other covers and use thumb screws, if I can find some with the right threading. The motherboard tray also has different threading than the standoffs I had planned on using. I had to use those terrible plastic snap-on pieces.

Are you talking about the mboard mounting bits, or the wires for USB, power, etc?

On mine it came with a variety of brass screw studs and about 3 plastic clippy things for the mboard, and a handful of various screws. I used all the brass bits, and one plastic clip to mount my board. The cables from the panel were all labeled, but some of them don't match up with what my particular board has.

I also just received my replacement front panel, since the original one was broken. It is actually a different design. Has the USB, mic and line in jacks on the side of the panel instead of down below under the flip out door. Also has a different power switch and indicator lights. Same screw holes though.

Depends on the mobo. The plugs in the case include:

DATA1,2,VCC,etc. = front panel USB
POWER/RESET/SPKR
SPEAKER R/L 1/2, VCC, MIC-IN = front panel audio
IR (possibly)

Just look in your mobo manual for info on where the plugins are on the mobo.

im talking about the wires for the usb and audio.

ive looked in the motherboard manual but its difficult because the wires from the case contain single pins while the motherboard usb connectors accept sets of four or so.

Took me about a minute to set it up. Just figure out which pins are ground, data +, etc and stick them in.
