i remember when dotster was doing like 20 free .info names. You couldnt even do anything with them, no forwarding allowed.

I registered 8 of them last week, and have got confirmation for 2 of them that they are now registered (dns.be shows whois information for .be domains FYI)

The other ones? Who knows. Free is good though!

I got the first "follow this link" and enter the confirmation code email, which I did two days ago. Nuthin since.

Hey Floydian, when you got that second email ... can you go somewhere and change the DNS servers?

Hey everyone, happy thanksgiving.

I'm using HostPC to host the domains for now. HostPC's Directadmin lets you have a few domains (10 maybe?) for one hosting account, so it ends up working out pretty well with these free domains.

FYI, it took ~1 week or so after I recieved the first emails before I got the second confirmation emails saying that the DNS have been set. CHECK OUT THE LINK BELOW for the login to change the DNS servers.

Doh! I didn't change the name servers when I signed up for the first one. I got the second notification that it is now good to go but cannot figure out how to sign in to anything to change the name servers.

Trying a second .be and providing my own name servers now.
