$199US = $317CAN so $269 is not a bad deal at all (for canadians).. Usually canadians have to pay more for the exact same stuff (after conversion) so they are actually getting this drive cheaper than US people can get...

and for Canada, it's a darn good deal, cuz the cheapest place (and worst customer service) we can find in our area is ATIC Computers, who have the drive for $355 CDN... more than $100 than Futureshop.

Well i was going by his origional post that said $269 CAD = $205 USD.

but if you want me to work out this deal, i would much rather do this than work so i gladly will.

$449.99 (Cdn) - $30 Instant rebate (Cdn) = $419.99
$419.99 + 14% sales tax = $478.78
$478.99 - (100.00 USD = 158.35 CAD) = $320.64

320.64 CAD = $202.51 USD

and i'm pretty sure shipping is not free, and there is no waiting for 8-10 weeks for a $100 rebate.

How about posting the price in your title?
If everyone posted the price it would save us from having to look at "deals" because they say "THERMONUCLEAR".
It slows down an already slow server, plus it is a letdown.

THERMONUCLEAR HOT = WinXP Pro Full for 50 buck or Iomega 12xCDRW make 10 bucks or 100gid HD for 100 bucks. These are HOT!!
