I have been able to upgrade these to C2D without a problem in the past.... Figure $300 for a T7200 and some labor, I think at even $2K it is still a great deal... Of course I am biased, I now have 2 of these now

This really is a good deal for the money. Or you can get a Dell e1705 with a 7900gs overclocked to gtx speeds with more ram, new, and a smaller price. Of course it will only have 256mb of video memory.

Look at Dell Outlet for Precision M90's with a Quadro 2500m (7900GTX) for cheaper. Standard 3 year complete care, smaller price, better performance.
