Purchased one in Winchester, KY tonight. $398.xx + tax. Also known to be in London, KY and I would guess anywhere in Central Kentucky (including Lexington). Will let you know the results. Silver frame on the monitor. Looks nice!

As far as JohnGer is concerned, for a nubee he started into this thread with good constructive information - why don't you save some bandwidth and leave him alone?

So what kind of input does it take? both VGA and DVI?
This is a one time deal and it is a week 47 feature supposedly. Most stores should be getting a number of these in stock. They will not be on normal side counter shelves. Tell the stores when calling to check the backroom because it's a feature.Originally posted by: drgnlvrs

This replaced my 19" trinitron CRT monitor and I feel now that I was looking through a filter for last year. This LCD is one of the nicest ones I have seen. I have seen the $999 mac lcd, Dell, Sony and etc.

Leave him alone? Are you serious? Do me a favor and read JohnGer's 2nd post in this thread, then tell me he doesn't deserve some public flogging. The crap he spit-forth called for a response, and as you can see from the myriad of people lashing, I'm certainly not alone in calling him to the mat.
And not that it matters, but I've been a regular reader of this board for quite a long time -- years (plural) before my join-date.
And just to keep this on topic -- I will be in 2, count'em TWO -- Wal-Marts later this evening. I'll report back here with my findings.
Man you are lucky, checked all of the stores in town, the first guy kept trying to sell me RAM, the others were at least closer with trying to sell me CRT's, no 18" LCD's or anything other than KDS, but man great deal to all who got in!!Originally posted by: Engineer
