Yes, it's bootable. You can either use their program to make it bootable or do it yourself as you would most USB drives through the BIOS, FDISK and FORMAT /S.
I had the older PQI 128MB purple USB 1.1 I-Stick and noticed that this 1GB drive's access light is very dim and small (2mm square). I can barely see it in an office environment while the older I-Stick was wonderfully bright. The entire lit area is unmistakable and the brightest area is 4mm square. I also noticed that this drive gets warm, but it's probably because of it's diminutive size and dense capacity.
Anyone else noticed these things or is mine jacked up?
Other than that, this is a great drive and the USB 1.1 are very durable. I accidentally bent mine, kept it in my wallet, which gets smashed and tossed for over a year and recently tested defect free using Spinrite and it's still kickin. Hope this USB 2, 1GB fares as well, but with a 3 year warranty, why worry?
