If they don't ship the CD-RW's, at least they can sell all the names, addresses and telephone numbers they collected...... or will they delete those?

Another day, no response. I'm not sure if this is a good thing.

Why do I get the feeling that my order is sittin in the middle of some table with some CompUSA managers hovering over it screaming. :|:Q

Anybody with an update? My order still shows "processing". Doesn't look good but I guess I was expecting an email either way from them.

Good luck getting these guys, CrapUSA doesn't do anything about mix up pricing. I hope it goes through for ya though.
I wish the 10 Pack of 20gb hard drives woulda gone through for me last year...

At least BB gives giftcards, CrapUsa does jack.:disgust:

I havent received any emails either .... so far. I really want that CDRW for my laptop. I was wondering if anybody out here has called up compUSA and tried to find out what they plan to do about this mispricing error. It would be nice if they would atleast offer us some kind of a discount on the burner considering the fact that its compUSA which screwed up big time

Well, we all knew this was coming. I hope this doesn't turn into a dirty thread like the time BestBuy didn't sell us that GF4 Ti4600 for $129. However, I do hope that CompUSA sends us a nice gift for being so cooperative.

Look at their Terms and Conditions:

On one hand, they say
Although Internet orders generate an automatic confirmation and response e-mail, CompUSA may change its pricing, product description or specification after any order confirmation or response e-mail but prior to shipment due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or unavailability, typographical errors, or any other reason.

However,
We will not complete your order until we have your approval.

So they can not ship you the unit and charge you $119.99, as they implied that they have the right to do so.

Well, Compusa sucks IMO. Everytime I go there to buy something it's priced differently, out of stock, or something. I've never been able to buy anything for at least 4 years.

I drove 20 miles (had to go that way anyway) Sat am, and they were on the shelf for $139.99, plus they had taped/shrinkwrapped a piece of paper over the UPC that said something to the effect of
"Item will not scan at proper price, override to $139.99 - 8/2/2002"

I decided not to even argue, it wasn't worth my time or money and went nextdoor to PetCo and bought cat food...

I'm not going to cancel or agree to the new price. I told them since they
knew it was priced incorrectly on Friday that it was no longer an error on
Saturday when I placed my order.

Let's see what their response is. If I don't get it for $19.99, I'm off to the Florida
Division of Consumer Services to file my complaint. They settled a problem with
COMPUSA like this for me a couple of years ago.
