Nickel, yes, Amazon will credit you the difference if their own price drops. I think they give you a 30-day window in which to do this. (800) 201-7575 I've done this several times w/ no problems - great CS.

The reason that it has some issues is because it uses different technology to store its memory. This tech is also cheap... thus the price. I didnt feel like messing around with corrupt pictures so i just ordered something i was sure would be relialbe. flash memory comparison

i called up simpletech and "robert" told me that they pulled the rebate for the 256 cf. ppl who still have the pdf can send it and they will get their money.... i ordered the compactflash but i need the pdf form... can somebody email it to me please?

well i got mine today, plugged it into my Kodak DC3200 and sweet, the load times are cut down considerably about 3-4 seconds, (now takes about 1-2,more than enough)

now gotta mail my rebate and stuff, the main problem i had was, once i plugged it into my sandisk cf reader, the thing wouldnt eject, but i got it all figured out(just wish my sandisk cf reader had a eject button)

btw at the highest quality level, by my calcs, I can take 766 pics (244mb formatted) yowzas!
