<< Why not get the 512Mb cool Mushkin chip...Only $119 [$9.00 more, and gives much better upgrade options down the road]

That's a good option, but I believe it hinders upgrade options in some respects. For instance, I am building a computer for my aunt. Instead of having two 128 meg sticks of pc 133 memory, I have one 256 meg stick. That means, if I choose to give her memory on her computer, I have to slap 256 in it. I would like to give her 128 (all she'll do is internet surf), and take the other 128 and add it to my other computer that is a 200 mhz amd k6 and only has 32 megs. A cheap motherboard/processor and I could have that computer blazing away for my wife. This isn't really a bad thing since I could get a 128 meg stick for $25, but it would make my decision to upgrade the other computer for me. Now, I probably won't spend the money to upgrade my wife's computer.
