I bought some of this stuff at outpost.com yesterday. The title says Mushkin Cool. I just got it today since I live in Ohio and it's Mushkin High Performance with heat spreaders. I have it running now in my 8KHA+ at 166fsb at cas2.

I'm so tempted by this deal... problem is, I've got 512 Megs due by a raincheck from that $25 for 256 Meg deal that Best Buy had after rebate... still waiting for those to come in.

I wish memory was cheap again...

Braves - My Best Buy in King of Prussia, PA gave me a raincheck for 2 sticks of Crucial DDR 256 MB when they had the 35-10 (MIR)=$25 deal a few weeks back. Still waiting for them to get it in, though... had to buy a stick from Newegg cause I was sick of waiting to put my system together. I guess I'll just have 768 Meg when Best Buy's supply finally comes around.

Thanks...I just jumped in for 2. Prices may come down a bit, but I dont' think we'll see those high performance chips much cheaper any time soon. I builing a new computer, and this is just about what I've been looking for.

If it said it was the high performace on product info I would be all over it, but I think they can send you what they want since there is no product info. the pic they have there of the ram is certanily not high performance,

As it states the bandwidth in the ad as 2,128Mb/s it is PC2100 RAM...

From Muskin's site
PC1600 - 1600 MB/sec
PC2100 - 2,128 Mb/s

I called Michelle at outpost.com and verified that this is in fact PC2100 DDR ram.. =)

I took the gamble and stocked up.. if it turns out to be something other then I ordered I guess I will have to return them.. worth the gamble.
