You will just need to send them usual, and you get a whopping $30 of there drive if you buy it!! I dont think I am wrong here. But that just means that the drive I just bought from some company for 180$ retail box(yeah yeah I know I was in a rush they were giving me free shipping). I will get 30$ off with this rebate, and more!

This rebate is good for retail packaged drives only.

I had an option to do this when I purchased my most recent Plextor burner, but I saved more money than the rebate was worth, by going OEM...

Yeah I noticed the reatail thingy.
I would have done the same yet I was suckered into buying the retail for 20$ more. Should not have since realisticly I dont need plextors "cough" piece of sh*t software. But thats ok... now it looks like I will be spendign 150$ instead of 180$

Be careful on Plextor rebates. I filed for one a short time ago and got a postcard from them yesterday saying that my rebate was "declined for the following reason(s):
*Purchase price must be at least $155 to qualify"
I checked the rebate form and it didn't say anything about a minimum purchase price in the Terms and Conditions.
How many others out there have gotten this reply?
Keep this in mind when figuring your actual cost. You can't return it after you've had it for "6 to 8 weeks for reply".
