Sounds like a good idea, but I don't think the rebate will work unless both access point and card come in separate boxes. How is the bundle packaged?

Don't know, but Buy.com has it listed as:
"Buy this 3com Wireless LAN Access Point 2000, get a FREE Wireless LAN PCCard!" on their home page.

So I'm thinking the free NIC card is Buy.com's deal and will not interfere with the Access Point rebate.

3com has them listed as seperate products and I can't find them as a bundled "starter kit" anywhere.
