Still a good price for DDR 333, even though its just samsung chipset and not samsung PCB. I have some running on an Asus A7V333 without any problems.

It's Samsung on generic, FWIW. I ordered a stick a couple of months ago and it stubbornly refused to work stably ay 166MHz :frown:.

I returned it and bought a stick of Corsair XMS instead

I bought a stick of this a few months ago from Googlegear, it's Samsung chips on generic PCB. FWIW, I can run this stuff at default SPD settings and get it up to 178 mhz on my 8SRX mobo.

Good price. I never had a problem with their memory even though they are not original Samsung PCB. I had two 256mb Samsung chipped memory and they overclocked very well. Googlegear service is also top notch and they ship immediately.

ONLY buy it if it has samsung board also, if you want to overclock. I have some sticks with and without the samsung board, and the ones that have samsung on both are significantly better for o/c'ing.

I just bought a stick of the 256 cheap samsung. 2700 It clocks to 420ddr no problem.

Looks like DDR RAM prices are dropping again. Hope it goes really low like it has in the past. I've notice Crucial DDR prices dropping over the last few weeks. Been waiting for it to drop to add more RAM to my new Dell 4550.


EDIT: Just checked the PC2700 at Crucial. The 128MB stick dropped $4 in past few days.
