Did a search and nothing came up.

Here's what I got:

A valuepack of Fuji Film speed 200 that has 8 rolls of 24 exposure for $5.90(reg: $11.90) + tax in Target B&M

May be a good time to stock up on films.

Just be sure to check the dates on it (yes, film gets old). Some places clear out old film cheap. If it is old your pictures just won't look as good as they should.

If it is new and you do stock up, be sure to put it in the fridge or freezer. It will last MUCH longer that way. Same goes for exposed film you don't drop off right away. Its all chemical reactions and the colder you keep it the better you preserve it.

Yeah, I've seen the fridge freezer thing in photoshops. But, in actual use, do you have to let the film sit for awhile so you don't get condensation problems?

This is only true for certain pro films that are very heat sensitive (e.g. Fuji Velvia, which isn't supposed to be stored above about 67 degrees F). Consumer films are much more durable, and storing it in a fridge won't do anything important -- it'll extend the life from about 8 years to about 10 years, although you're more likely to damage the film with water vapor if you keep it in a fridge with food for 10 years.

I got a moderately hardcore 35mm for Christmas and am burning up film. Where do you guys usually go for good film deals?? (online or in NYC).

B&H photo is by far the best...well one of the best at least. Beware the others who are not as reputable. B&H has HUGE store in NYC that is incredible. Most of the others are these hole in the wall places with packed walls and jerk working the sales counters. B&H is class all the way (go there couple times a year).

Get the international film. Same stuff, packaged with non-english labels, and in the case of Fuji film (my favorite...superia and reala) made in the same factory. Only difference is its much cheaper.

I think they are BandHphotoandvideo.com...something like that.

i checked the date and it said best before 05/2003.

Given the normal lifespan is 4-5 years, these are indeed very old stocks. Albeit, it will come in handy if you are a frequent traveler or an avid photographers. Get some of this for graduation this year
