Bring several large styrofoam "doggy bag" type containers, and keep refilling the riblets!

this applies to most buffets if you can get away with it too!

Not to thread crap but the Applebees here has been doing the AYCE ribblets for at least a month, if not longer. The ribblets here SUCK A$$. I can't think of enough words to describe what I ate. I ended up not even finishing my first serving and felt like I'd been bent over by the waiter because he talked me into paying a $1.00 more for AYCE. If you want ribs, goto Chili's or for that matter go ANYWHERE else other than Applebees.

well, i still don't know wut ribblets are, but i do know a little about red lobster... i was just there last night

for $14.99 i got 2 lobster tails, 1 steak, 2 sides, 1 salad and those yummy garlic/cheese biscuits. and this was no ordinary steak... it could very well have been the BEST steak i have ever had (and ive been to all the places like morton's... about 75 times, the palm, etc and none compare to this one). now when i go down to visit my aunts/uncles, im gonna have them take me out to red lobster instead of mortons... save them a few bucks ;p

Our Red Lobster only has AYCE $19.99 Snow Crab Legs, which isn't too bad, except I don't see it on the menu anymore.

On the other hand... PAPPADEUX has all you can eat LOBSTER for $29.99 on Wednesday!!! AWESOME deal, considering they're one of my favorite restaurants.

Oh yeah, I think I got sick from eating the AYCE riblets at Applebee's a few weeks ago... man, that thing was salty. :disgust:

Lol... that's a pretty harsh reason. But thumbs' up for AB's riblets! Had 3 plates all by myself yesterday Gained at least 3 - 5 lbs myself.

I'm an AYCE vet. From the cheap creamed everything buffets to the Red Lobster snow crabs.

2 of us killed 13lbs of Snow Crab the last time Red Lobster had that special. Just something about knowing that you will limp out of the restaurant full and most of the time satisfied.

The Applebees around here keeps their riblets soaking in a tub of greasy hot water to keep them from drying out.

When I saw those slimy wet things go onto a customer's plate, I knew I would never be able to bring myself to eat one.

Hope you're not talking about sizzler's all you can eat shrimp special. Dont go sizzler for that! they bring out premade, packaged in a bag fried shrimps from costco! I paid a good 10 bux for that last year, and my whole crew, of about 5 people, could only finish up two plates. Sad eh? But the shrimps sucked. AVOID SIZZLER'S ALL YOU CAN EAT SHRIMPS AT ALL COST. you have been warned =0].

I ate THREE plates of ribblets...they weren't too bad. I just got the standard sauce on them....they were $11.49 here with BBQ Beans, some decent cole slaw, and fries. Being somewhat familiar with meat, I beleive these were beef backs (there's a strip of meat along the backbone of cows and pigs). They may have been pork, but mine were so tender and moist I couldn't tell

In Vegas here, we have ayce buffets everywhere. Some of the better ones have all you can eat shrimp, crab, (usually limits lobster however), ribs, prime rib, streak, wings, burgers, pizza, whatever, you name it.

They don't make money on buffets, sometimes they lose, but that's because they're just trying to keep the tourists in the casino longer in hopes of getting them to gamble. For me, it means all you can eat for cheap.

Oh, you also get free drinks if you sit by a slot btw. I normally get free drinks by sitting by the nickel slots and coining up 1-2 dollars while I sit and drink with friends.

Guess its not bad when you're a college bum with little money.
