hmm...ok then. did u ppl who ordered the ada880 also order other stuff with it? i ordered the belkin usb nic together with my ada880. :disgust:trying to figure out why i'm not getting my 2nd confirmation

i ordered on the 12th at 9:30am est.
i hope i get mine...

i hope it's not the nic that's keeping those speakers on hold.

You should get a grammar / spell checker. Even on your website there are glaring misspellings.

Ragedope, when did you order yours? Have you checked to see if the tracking number is up on the UPS site yet?

Hey guys,
I've ordered several things from Dell. They assign you a customer number for Home purchases, and another customer number for Business side purchases. Try plugging your customer number in where it says multiple order status, search by customer number. Link

Welp, I got sick and tired of everyone trying to rip Dell off, so I called up one of their CSRs, and informed them of the situation. They said that they were aware of the pricing error, and that they were fixing it. They told me that they're also in the process of cancelling all orders that went through, and all future orders. I also brought up the NICs for $.95, and the lady said they're handling that also. The CSR lady was so kind as to thank me for informing them of their errors! I feel like a saint. Merry Christmas!

After making comments like these on this forum and other forums I am glad to see you took part in the ripping off of Dell. I am also glad you wish us well in getting ours now that you got yours. Wait till Daddy finds out you stole his credit card to buy computer speakers I hope he pulls out the belt. But considering your comments I am sure that hasn't happened yet and probably never will.

for those of you not getting a confirmation email when they ship did you "register" your order on the check order status page?

do that and THEN they are supposed to email you when it ships. I just did that so I hope it works

Here is the reason why you are not receiving your second email straight from the CSR:

They are backed up due to excessive orders.

Give them additional time to straighten this out as I too am waiting for my second email confirmation. Calling and bugging them right now will get you nowhere right now.

I just ordered these from Provantage for $132 plus $26 shipping and they came 2 days after i ordered them, i ordered em because all of you were saying dell wont have them in stock for 2 months.

Provantage was really fast. I didnt open them up yet, can any of you tell me how easy this will be to put a couple of these smaller speakers up on the wall so i can have a surround sound effect???

That's what I did- but I don't think we need to create another account. I just ordered a dell desktop for my dad through small business and everything came OK...

No, I used the same info, I just had to add a business name when asked for one.
I got both emails within minutes of each other. About 15 minutes after I placed the order.

OK I am totally confused by how a Fortune 500 company can have such a crappy ordering and inventory system.

I too have yet to receive my 2nd e-mail, but get this....I told my friend about this deal, he ordered 30 minutes after me and he received his 2nd e-mail almost 24 hours ago.

We both did not have any accounts with Dell and ordered through the small business section, the only difference is that he ordered after me and he already has his 2nd e-mail !!!!!!! )(@*%$)(#$*%!)(#

I'm STILL waiting for 2nd email (Order Confirmation) from order placed 12/12/01 8:45am.
This order included 2 sets of speakers and some other things. I'm getting worried.

I called in an order 12/13 for one set of the ADA880's and the CSR gave me order number and is scheduled
to be shipped on 12/26. So, where in the hell is my other order??

I did get 2nd email and expected ship date on my NIC card order.
I also called CSR last night to see if they showed my "missing" order on my account and I was told, "NO".
I told the guy that I received the acknowledgment email but not the confirmation email.
He told me "If you didn't receive the confirmation email, then the order was not placed".
Personally, I think this guy was a moron! I explained that, if I received an order acknowledgment,
then I obviously PLACED the order. I kept going back and forth with this guy, but he obviously wasn't
getting it. I said what are you supposed to do, place an order, wait 2 days, and if you don't receive confirmation,
re-order again?!? WTF??! Michael Dell obviosly hires the cream of the crop! Then he says give it another 48 hours and see
if I receive a confirmation email (on the order that he said I "didn't" place) - if I don't, I could re-order.
I can't re-order because the item is no longer available on the site. He was absolutely NO help!
He also said they have had server problems for about 1.5 weeks - which is probably just an excuse
whenever they lose orders. Pretty ironic that a computer dealer would have server problems!!
