Hot?! AMD 1333 AYHJA T-Bird for $137

I just bought 2 AMD 1333 T-Birds from http://www.vikingcomputers.net/ for $137 + shipping. They both have the AYHJA Coding. You might want to call to verify they still have AYHJA codes. I have one burning in at 1600/1.85V/Thermalright SK6. I will be tested the 2nd CPU tonight.

I saw on PriceWatch that Viking had the CPU listed for $137. I did not know there was a limit to just one from their website. I called and picked up 2 from there store since I live about 5 minutes away. It was just by pure luck that thare are AYHJA. I will be benchmarking the 2nd CPU tonight.

Still, just call and ask to see if the AYHJA are still available.

in case you guys don't know,

AYHJA &quot;9&quot; sucks big time. avg clock for the &quot;9&quot; is like 1450, mine only goes to 1430@1.8v

pep66 modded, 4 case fans

go for an AYHJA &quot;Y&quot; if you want good overclocking

btw almost all 1.33's are ayhja

My nine chip does 1560 24/7 and will run up to 1600 at 1.89. Chips can vary greatly from one to another. I happened to get one of the better nines that I have heard of. HTH

It may be best to save a few bucks and get the 1.33GHz rather than the 1.4GHz. For more information on why, Check out this article from ClubOC.

From what I've read, all the 1.33GHz come factory unlocked, so by overclocking you may well achieve the same results as with the 1.4GHz.

I just bought a 1.33 from tcwo.com for 144.00 + if you buy a fan for 9.00 you get a 1 year warr., I will have to check to see if it has this new code you are talking about!!!

Just tested my 2nd processor. I can boot to 1640, but can not load OS. Boots to 1600, but locks during benchmarking. Runs at 1540 with no problems, currently running Prime 95 for over 10 hours now.

These are $30 cheaper than 1.4 and are unlocked. Will probably run at 1400 for years...
