Hot and muggy and computer won't boot?

Yesterday I turned on my computer and ran it for about 15 min, the room it was in was very hot and muggy. I was then organizing the cords behind the computer so I unplugged the monitor from the wall to switch outlets. This shouldn't have done anything to the computer but when I hit enter to turn the monitor back on I got a no signal found message. Ctrl Alt Del didn't work, and the reset button didn't work so I had to hold the power button in to turn the power off. I couldn't get it to work at all after that. No bios beeps and the Diagnostic LED's stoped at the first sequence which is "Power On." Can someone please help me, is it heat related, could I have ruined something. or what?

sounds like your monitor cable isn't properly attached to your videocard video out!

I don't think it is heat related as it should have cooled down enough later on to reboot then freeze up shortly then after if heat related...

I agree with the above or you may have caused an electrical discharge...Always unplug and turn off computer when doing stuff like that...should have been fine but just the right conditions may cause something...
