How much is this thing usually

well most retailers have it for $130, newegg has it for $99 free shipping I believe, BB has had it as low as $79 AR, CC had it for $99 AR, and Fry's and Staples have had it ~80 out the door recently.

Prices are all over the place

I saw the regular $129 tag on the comp, but as you guys said, I took it out to the counter and it rang up as $77. I was also able to use the $20 coupon that I received after filling out their online survey. I had to add the following item to make it go over $100

AT&T Phone (free after $8 rebate),
100 Jewel Cases (free after $8 rebate)
56k modem (free after $15 rebate).

So for $82 I got the Sonata Case, AT&T Phone, 100 Jewel Cases and a 56K modem.

It was $82 very well spent. The case, phone and the modem will be used to build my Wife a system for her new office.

Newegg doesn't offer this with free shipping. It's $15.

i'm considering ordering this from ebuyer.com They have it for $89 w/$10 shipping to California + no tax. If you were able to get this from Staples it would've cost around $83 after tax in CA, so it's not that big of a price increase.

Thanks for the heads up, this is a real quality case. Nearest store with it in stock was 20min away and they had it hidden in the back but it was worth it for my quest to make my PC quiet. Plus the sales girls had much better asses then my local staples

BAH!!! CC has it at a regular price of $69 - prices on this case must be going down. Now I feel like I got jipped, since I got it on clearence (no returns) and the flimsy little hinge on the front panel broke. Now I have to get out the crazy glue (add an estimated $0.25 of glue which means I overpaid by $8.75 LOL)

I was at CC 3 days ago and the price tag said $99, after a $30 MIR that expires 2/6 or something heh. If you got it for $69, lucky you!

found one (NIB) while visiting my parents (in a small town where pretty much nobody builds their own comps) even let me use a $10 OM coupon. $72 after tax. very nice considering I was going to buy this case from amazon at $100 if I couldn't locate one. I'm debating going back for the display model they had out -never even plugged in, manager told me he'd go another 10% off. $70 minus any coupons I can dig up. too bad the mobo from my 400SC won't fit in there...and too bad it won't take a BTX board...decisions decisions...the real question is, am I ever going to need this? arrrgghhh. somebody just give me a reason to go buy it!

I think the reason they getting it out is because ATX is getting dumped for a newer setup, forgot wat it called, btx? I was actually gonna build a new comp using the sonata case till i heard a new setup was being pushed by Intel so that the case dissapate heat better. Good deal if you can find it and want to build a comp now!

What are you smoking? There are all of, oh, 0 BTX boards? They'll start dumping ATX when it stops being the only worthwhile thing to buy.

Weird, went in there looking for a db9 cable to control my cable box from my mythtv box and saw that sucker there for $69. I'll double check again, since I'm going by the store after I get out of school.

Edit: Bah, they had an incorrect price label below the box (it was for different antec mini tower). I tried to buy it for that price anyway, but they would not go for it.

I picked up one today at the Kalispell, MT store, still had one more in stock if anyone wants to grab it. Planning on modding this one as I already have my system in one. Very quiet case and easy to work with.

My local Staples only had 1 left which they said had been returned, but the box looked brand new so I took a chance.

Only thing that concerned me is that the PSU doesn't say Antec on it anywhere. Is this the same for you guys?

This case should have the antec 380s psu. Which is there special quite fan psu. Should have 2 fan only molex
The fan in the back is 120x120x25 and I can see nothing special about it.

I was at my local Staples and picked-up a returned case for $5.00. It had no psu and the filter and front door where missing.
But hey 5 bucks how could I say no. The door and filter cost 18.00 shipped to oregon. And I just put In a 450 psu I had laying around.
Antec want 89.00 for the 380s psu that they say they wont sell to anyone unless its a replacement for the sonata or overture cases

I did the Sonata case at new egg for 99 free shipping 2x last week . Very nice case

The replacement door comes with the antec badge which I haven't seen on the other cases on display

Newtown Staples had one, only case they had in the whole store and they noted it was on Clearance.

Bolted out the door so fast I forgot to grab my $15 business rewards coupon.

Turns out it had been marked down to $90 until quite recently, and several people had called about it when it was that price.

So I bought it, will go back later today and return/rebuy once I find the $15 coupon.

Very rare that I'm the lucky one on a Hot Deal, but my timing was perfect, one of the employees had been keeping an eye on it (not knowing how great a case it is) and hadn't seen it dropped from 90 to 77 yet.

So since he saw me with it I had to buy it or it would have "disappeared" when I left.
