So don't go blaming the world's problems on people who at least had the courage to deviate from the norm.
This is funny! Rapists, serial killers, child molesters, criminals, etc., are all people who deviate from the norm. I would say these diviants are the ones causing most of the problems in the United States, though fanatics do cause most of the rest of the worlds big problems in the name of religion to try and justify their own un-religious agenda. If you study the worlds religions you will understand that these fanatics are actually deviating from the religious norm, so once again, diviants are the root of the problem. You are lumping Athiest in with this group. Is that what you truly meant to do? I don't think so. My point is, sometimes the norm is there for a good reason, and that is why we have laws, but, yes, sometimes it does need to be deviated from. It's a situational thing, not a lump all together issue.
I'll step off my soap box now.
On the lighter side: I read a story about a car at a gas station covered with bumper stickers. When another customer questioned if the car was a political statement, the owner replied "No, I just like to think of it as a unigue anti-theft device!"
