Yep. $50 instant rebate was either too good of a deal and they realized it based on so many people grabbing it, or more likely just a misprint. $71 after rebate isn't as good as $50 on buy.com. (and only $30 for the non-gamer version, which I believe is the same hardware).
Looks like I'll be heading over to buy.com.

Where is it listed for $30? I see ~$50 for non-gamer and ~$70 for Gamer edition

What are the differences between gamer and non-gamer versions?

Pretty sure the only difference is that the gamer edition comes with some 2-3 year old games. The actual specs of the card are the same.
Hmmmmm... dunno bout that. I have both versions and looking at the non-gamer version's box it advertises DTS decoding on it just like the gamer. Also the cards themselves were exactly identical when I had them side by side before they went into my computers. Couldn't even tell which one was which. Same drivers too. Only the game bundle was different. They were nice enough to include the 2 crappiest games from the Gamer version with the regular version though. hehOriginally posted by: funboy42
Well there is that and the non gamer only decodes DD and not DTS.
