Thanks for the heads up. I get the Buy emails and just scan and delete. I missed this one and it is what I was looking for. Grabed a Gamer and a Pro, one to use and one for a gift, not sure which one I will keep. I was going to go to Crap USA for the $80.00 Gamer after rebate after I finished surfing tonight. But saw this post and saved $20.00 on the Gamer and it cost me an additional $100.00 for the Pro, but I'm happy. Thanks.

Thanks for the deal, OP. These look like nice prices.

I have a NF4 board with no firewire, so the Audigy 2 ZS, which has a firewire port, if a good thing. I checked a few pics of the new Creative sound card (x-fi) and I didn't see the 1394. So I think I'll jump on this.

Good price, I'm tempted but not sure if I would really notice that much of a difference from what I have now, which is an Audigy (1) card and Klipsch Promedia 2.1's...

Watch out for these Buy.com rebates...I just had a hassle because my product shipped from Buy.com came with a "Master Packing Slip" (MPS) rather than a "receipt". My rebate was denied due to "no receipt" because I sent in the MPS. Apparently, you have to print your receipt from the Buy.com web-site and send it with your MIR.

I call that a load of crap. Why should I have to "search" around for my receipt...it should ship with the product like every other e-tailer does.

Just to be sure, I always include a copies of the receipt, packing slip, and email confirmations along with whatever else is needed. That way they have a hard time denying I made the purchase. So far I am 100% on rebates.

Thanks for the heads up!

I just went to the order history page and on the left side, under "Billing/Pricing" is a "Print a Receipt" link.

Its not entirely obvious but having been warned I am now prepared.

Maybe you should read the order screens when you buy stuff online. It clearly says at the top of on one of the pages when you order at Buy.com "This is your receipt. Please print it for your records." The webpage is even CALLED "secure.buy.com/basket/receipt.asp?(etc etc)". Just food for thought

Yeah, I wasn't sure about newegg either. So I sent an e-mail to their "rebates support" address (imagine that, real support) and they told me where to find the invoice and to print and mail that as the rebate.

First of all, make a copy of everything. If they give you any hassle, tell them you have copies and that you will gladly share them with the FBI fraud division and/or local DA and BBB. I recently did that with a Logitech rebate (first, they said they never received it, then they said the offer number didn't exist). I told them I didnt have a problem pursuing them for fraud and lo and behold, I get an e-mail the next day saying rebate is being processed. (I didn't even have to resend anything....did I miss something?????) Anyway, always play hardball with these morons....seems that's the American way these days...
