Mine arrived yesterday as well. I used the slow shipping. Its region 1 exactly like what you would get if you buy in the US. Also comes in the tin can. Already watched the first 2 episodes.

at this point, just like to say sry about my comments from earlier. i was just angry cuz u cant post codes, and they ban hotmail. thruth be told, i had no clue about this deal until reading this thread, and was thinking about getting BOB for the stantard $80. ordered mine yesterday, might take awhile with standard shipping, but i can wait for $20.

You know its not hard to find these coupon codes so I dont know what the problem is. I also was alerted to this deal from the Anandtech thread
and then just went to google and searched for amazon.ca coupon and boom I got to some Canadian deals site with all sorts of coupons. Really very easy.
I have no problem taking that one extra step of searching out the coupon myself. If you are smart enough to find this forum finding coupon codes online
is just as easy.

Ordered a set for my son yesterday...he loves anything related to WW2... guess that may be appropriate given today is Vets day! I just read the $10 off restrictions and it said for orders with visa card only and visa card must be issued in canada ... just wondering if anyone has gotten the deal with a US issued card.

I hate to turn this thread into a debate on war, but you did bring it up. I'll respond only so that your opinion won't go without opposition. If oil is the reason we go to war, where's the oil from Afganistan? Perhaps you think that one was for drugs or land mines 'cause that's all there is there. We have no interest in loosing American lives for Iraqi oil. There are way to many other places to get oil for much less than the war will cost. Iraq would love to increase this amount for even less money per barrel, but the UN put economic restrictions on Iraq. On a related topic, GWB is trying to get more domestic sources of oil so we need less supplies from all foreign countries. Why go to war for oil when your domestic policy is to be less dependent on them(hmmmm)? I stress again, we have no NEED for Iraqi oil short or long term, but didn't I hear something about a mad man with biological, chemical, and the will to develop nuclear weapons in Iraq who has waged war with his neighboring countries. On top of that he's already used chemical weapons on his own people. Perhaps that matters a bit more than something that can be purchased many places around the world. I have more faith in the leaders of this country right now than any of recent past. Of course, I'm not alone judging by last Tuesday.

Now back to the deal. I have a US issued card and have received confirmation with the coupon being subtracted from the total.

just ordered it. $90 CAD total (4-8 day international shipping was cancelled out by the $10 off $50). Awesome deal. Absolutly awesome. Don't know why anyone would order it from anyplace else. I loved the series; have seen every episode a couple of times and have heard only the best about this DVD.

yea, wasnt hard to find else where, but i would advise dvdtalk over google any day.....
