Panasonic cordless phones used to get bad reviews up to a couple years ago. Seems they've gotten better since then?
Also this model isn't on Pana's website. Must be last years model.

I was going to say the same thing about answering machines. I still have one land line. As much as I like using my cell phone, the quality still isn't up to my standards. When cell phones are equal to land lines, I'll dump the land line.
