It is a repost. The CDR is made by STI in Taiwan, which is considered junk. My local CC B&M have'em all over the selling floor and nobody wants them although they are supposed to be free after rebate.

I just got a 50 pak, what the hell they are free. I have burned 4 cd's so far and no problems. I dont think I would put anything important on them, but they seem ok

No problem to write, but no protection layer, looks very easy to damage,need special care. If the TDK $20 rebate come back again, I will prefer TDK.

Of course, for free, I can say nothing.

The spelling wasn't the problem. Mullysculder was claiming that these were different CDRs and that they had 80 mins of capacity, but maybe he's just full of it.

Although the cd-r's shown on the first page of the Circuit City site are listed as 74 min, the ones they sold me with the rebate are 80 min. I hadn't noticed until now. upc 7 80269 40111 3. Receipt says STI CDR50.
