Mine arrived today even after I cancelled my order. They said that they were not going to honor the $20 coupon so I requested a cancel. I guess I was not in time.

Mine arrived today as well (I wasn't home to get it and they were supposed to ship to my work address). I had to call UPS to change the shipping address. This is the last order I place through CatalogCity. However, OfficeMax was extremely fast in filling the order and shipping so I'll keep them in mind for future orders. @ $29.99 this is a good deal if CatalogCity wasn't involved, bastards. I would have just ordered straight through OfficeMax if I had known about the "select members" criteria to the coupon. I hate that I gave CatalogCity commission on my purchase and they're screwing all of us.

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but I have noticed in this thread a lot of people were saying "I hope this is a LiteOn drive...". Pardon my ignorance in advance (usually not so brain dead on matters involving my machines), but how do you tell which brand it actually is? I ordered one from OMax yesterday, got it today, all the box says is IOMagic and the stickers on the drive itself are all generic as hell. The drive itself spanks tho...whips out a full 80/700 disk in 2 minutes

Oh yea, checked the drivers too...just generic MicroSoft schtuff...the drive itself is just listed as Atapi CDRW.

Well, welcome to the world of Nero InfoTool for me It pulled the firmware version and a quick search for the rather unique number brings me to the conclusion that mine is an Acer/Benq for anyone who is interested.

I am a member at mastecard.com and did not receive the coupon either. Someone from a different forum logged into their account at mastercard.com and did "UPDATE PROFILE" and their coupon was e-mailed to them in less than 30 minutes. I went in and updated my profile and 20 minutes later I got one too and forwared the e-mail to cat city, inreply to their crappy e-mail. Do not know if I will get the credit, still waiting to hear. Thy'll probably pull some crap, "well you ordered before you got the coupon so your ar not eligible", oh well, it is worth a try. I just played like it was lost in my e-mail and I found it. Try it and see
