HOT: chinese beef jerky inexpensive and free shipping (fixed), and now with possible free jerky

I was very impressed with these guys' customer service. Had a screw up with my one-time use credit card number, and they still shipped it first. Was very cordial and professional in asking me to submit another number. Got my jerky a week ago, ordered 1lb of superhot and 1lb of cubes. Let the BF eat the superhot as it was too hot for me. The cubes are actually not normal but "hot".

Sent my brother some too and hopefully he'll like it!

Tasted all of them of course~ Nuggets were thick, moist, and tasty on top of that~! Feels slightly oily outside though. I think these steak nuggets taste better than fortune jerky cubes. Seems to have more flavor. As for normal jerky, I prefer the taste of fortune jerky over tillamooks for now. Tillamook jerkys are good but in very typical american style beef jerkish way if you know what I am talking about~ Fortune jerkys are just different and offer uncommon flavors thought over time, I will get used to the flavor and move over to american style jerky side~ Oh and stay away from those Thick cut jerkys and other similar ground and formed jerkys they have. Those jerkys will be my emergency food when the big one hits CA...

I want to thank the guy who posted the tillamook jerky link.. that stuff is awesome... I got one of every flavor, my favorites were the teryaki, honey glazed, and Hot jerky. Not too tough, and just the right taste for each flavor. Much better than that crap in the supermarket from oberto.

a word of warning...this stuff is usually very addictive indeed...when I had the 4oz packs of another brand name(dunno the brand it was in chinese) it was pretty much impossible to open a pack and NOT finish the whole package!

Dammit I'm starting to drool thinking about this fruit jerky and you guys are causing me to shell out $30 for two pounds of beef. That's really just not right. LOL

I went to Wing Hop Fong at the corner of Garfield & Garvey in Montery Park yesterday, those Hsin Tung Yang jerkey is selling for $13 for the 16oz box, I grab couple boxes for my snack. For $16 is very very common in the Asian area, in my opinion, I would rather goto the store in San Gabriel 99 ranch plaza (not inside the 99 ranch market, the store is very close to sam woo restarant) and I think they have the best jerkey for me. But for those people who don't live close to asian area like E or W coast, this site is the best place to go 'cos I don't see a lot of places selling them online or mail order.

Yeah, for some reason. The packaged ones sold at Chinese stores, the pork tastes better than the beef. But if it was actually a place that made Beef jerkey, then the beef ones taste as good as the pork.

I just want to thank guddowiru for turning me onto this jerky. I had never had "chinese beef jerky" before so I ordered 2 lbs my first time (super hot & hot beef cube). This stuff is amazing. I've gone thru it already and my 2nd order is 4 lbs and it just arrived today via FedEx (yes, on a Saturday!).

Hot Beef Cubes: Very flavorful and very moist. Not too hot unless you aren't used to a little heat. Only downside is occasional grissle but hey, it's jerky!
Super Hot Jerky: I eat a lot of spicy stuff and if you like it spicy you'll like this. Not as moist as the beef cubes but still flavorful and hot.
Regular Beef Jerky: Haven't tried this yet

Oh, my 2nd order came with a free sampler Chinese teas set!

Not in my house. We only like pork (fruit kind) because the beef is a bit stringy and it barely lasts a day or two. And I'n not talking about a 16oz package. We usually buy the $30 or $40 amount 1 or 2 pounds worth and cut them up to smaller bite size pieces. My family then just goes through the stuff like candy.
Now here's my question. Those of you who had the nice Chinese jerky and have tried this kind is it good? I love the kind we get but its like $18+ a pound. One thing through is that it's a good brand that you get from those smaller stores that sell them is open containers that you pick the amount you want. I have never heard of Fortune brand.
BTW I was recently in Taiwan and as with last time I picked up some jerky at the airport before we left to came home and they have good jerky. I have yet to find any that good.

My favorite kind of jerky is Jimmy's Chinese style jerky. Sweet, tender and downright delicious. I think it's a Vancouver thing (made and packed locally). For sale at any Asian market or Chinatown location.

Let me say again ... the best jerky i've ever had.

Well, the the deer jerky that my bro-in-law made with his buddy was pretty tasty too in a gamey way. I'm not that big onto Oberto's and stuff like that. Feels like eating shoe leather IMO. Tastes okay though.
