HOT: Color PDA running WIN CE 16 MEG $64

This PDA looks to be an Aero 2100 series model. Which specific one in the 2100 series is unsure.

Looks like a damned cool device, except it runs on WindowsCE. And the ROM upgrade to run Pocket PC is $99 (which includes upgrading the mem to 24mb). But then again...For a total of ~$170 (unit, +Rom upgrade +shipping for the Rom) you get a Color TFT, 24mb ram, rechargeable battery....Hmmmmmm.

Update: This is the 2150 model. 16mb standard, upgradable to 32mb

I called Staples about my 40GB hard drive that was delivered yesterday to arrange a replacement (the drive was a return that had been re-shrinkwrapped). While on the phone I asked about this item. The person I talked to said they've had a lot of calls on this item and it is sold out everywhere.

Wow, I had one in my cart (for my parents living in Toledo, OH). I then went to get a coupon code from a site nice enough to post them; came back to the other browser and it was suddenly out of stock when I tried to check out!

Either Staples is doing something to their site, or, heaven forbid, someone who lives in Toledo is smart enough to do this stuff (and yes, that's a cut on Toledo OH...I lived there and escaped it so I can say whatever I want about it!).

I don't know HOW many they have in stock, but I tried the 4 major zip codes in my area and managed to find at least 1. Is there a specifc address to goto to see how many in your zip code are available? And the only reason I didn't process an order is I don't have my CC on me, wife does.
