Went to a CompUSA tonight and was sauntering around looking for
something else (compactflash readers cheap, which I didn't find) when
I came across several shelves of books that were marked down to $3.33.
There were not the same books I found the other day...TONS of recent
stuff. Picked up a bunch of Adobe books, some books on Macromedia
programs, several Linux books (Redhat 7.x, etc.), several books
on Windows 2000, etc. $3.33 each. Manual override required by
cashier, as they still ring up at original much higher prices...
All the $3.33 books were stickered $3.33.
Can't beat it with a stick, that's for sure. And a much more interesting
set of titles (interesting to me, anyway), than the really limited
set of titles that were listed as closeouts on the CompUSA website.
