I'm not really in a hurry so I'm waiting it out. I consider it sort of like high risk investing. My input is pretty small, but the payoff if Shawn gets everything back up and running is big. Since I'm not using it for a business site (and anyone using ANY of the extreme low cost providers for a business site is taking far too much risk), I'm ok with the occasional bobble. But, I had just signed up (so the site wasn't critical) and my email goes someplace else
For those thinking they will get something from some sort of class-action, I suggest you read up on such actions. If there was any money to be had, it will go to A) creditors the B) Lawyers of Class Action, then C) perhaps 1cent on the dollar to class participants.
For those thinking Shawn will run off to the Bahamas or something, consider the fact that this hasn't been huge sums of money. Even with the feeding frenzy at the chat sales, I doubt there would be enough cash involved to risk prison (or to pay for much time living it up). I know I wouldn't risk it for such a paltry amount of cash (relatively speaking)
So at this point I suspect the next waiting game is to see if anyone asking for a paypal refund gets a check, but considering a few sites are back up indicates to me Shawn is at least trying to get something going. So I'm thinking "let it ride" and will see if there is a decent payoff.
