I created a new thread since the old one was about it being down. This one is about it being back up which can actually be construed
as a HOT deal. Also, its easy to get lost in 1000+ posts.

Up Read for details

Passwird.com, my friends site is still not up, it was on the Maine server..

I'm kind of glad I didn't buy hosting @ Cyberwings.. Almost a whole month of downtime.

I dont think you understand. The reason for them having the rebuild portion is so that they can get your accounts set up. (i.e. they wont be up until you submit a ticket to gets yours rebuilt and wait for it to happen)

I think I have a reading problem all I keep reading over and over is: "no customer, no person, no one, has the right to stalk or harass Cyberwings personnel, including myself."

Let's see: 16,000 accounts times, say, 15 minutes each to troubleshoot and set up = 4000 hours of work. 4000 hours divided by "staff of 7" = 571 hours work per staff member, divided by 40 hours work per week = 14 weeks of work.

Hmmmm, the last 7 "customers" should be back on line around the end of October -- or about half back online by the middle of September!!!! Or let's say the 15 minutes per account is too optimistic, or someone gets sick, or someone quits, or ????? -- OMG

LMFAO!

Just yesterday I finally decided I needed another host for my foolish little site (I went with dixiesys, incredible support over there, I was shocked) but I'm still waiting on my CW account, if it comes back up, works, and has all the extras he said he was giving out... then it will make a great site for hosting downloads. If it doesn't come back up then O well I'm still covered.

all I plans are getting upgraded to AYW for free.

that's why there's only reseller or ayw in the ticket subjects.

and they didn't have 15,000 customers, but ~15,000 accounts.
many people had mulitple accounts. heard it was around 4,000 - 5,000 customers.

All a customers I accounts will be merged into a AYW, so that saves setup time greatly. also with a AYW the customer sets up the domains and stuff, so less time to setup for CW.

Security Question: Who is the biggest LIAR in web hosting business?
Security Answer: Shawn J. White

Do you think my ticket will go through with that? BTW, anyone worry that this is just another way for CEO to get our info and spam the heck out of us?
