I looked and did not see this posted already....Don't shoot me if it has...

Buy.com is having a special on the combo D-Link DI-614+ Wireless Router along with the DWL-650+ PCCard for $189.95. The Router has a 4 port 10/100 Switch, and 22 MB Wireless. The PC Card is also 22MB.

Link to Buy.com Combo deal

Apply the new $10 off $100 coupon...(Can be found on f-wallet, and other dela sites).

and then print out this rebate for for $30 off when you purchase the D-Link DI-614+ Wireless Router WITH either the DWL-650+ PC Card or the DWL-520+ PCI Card. The rebate states the items must both be purchased on the same invoice (the Buy.com invioce clearly states both items on the invioce so it should work.

Link to $30 Mail-in Rebate for the combo.

To recap:
$189.95 for Router and card
- 10.00 for the Coupon
- 30.00 for Mail-in Rebate
FREE Shipping and Handling
-------------------------------
= $149.95 for the combo shipped to your door. Sounds like a sweet deal to me....especially for 22MB Wireless...

I forgot to add that this also qualifies for FREE SHIPPING.

This is a good deal but buying the items seperately will save you an additional $2.79.

DI-614+ for $118.95
DWL-650+ for $68.21

Seems a bit strange that the bundle price is higher. I took advantage of this deal already and got my wireless network up and running last night.

Ah, Thank You. I had looked at the separate items, but just didn't do the math correctly and didn't see the advantage of buying seperate.....D'oh....

Ih well, $2.79 isn't much to cry over.... Now if it was $27.90 I would be mad as h*ll.... Now that I've said something...watch D-link refuse my reabte.....That would just SUCK A$$....

Thanks Again Zombie....

I think there is a better deal at OM right now.

They have the 614+ for $99 and there is a $20 rebate and I think there is a $20 off $100 coupon floating around. I bought it yesterday (phoned it in, it wasn't on their web site, the deal is in the weekly ad) and used the $25 coupon that expired on 10/14. they also have the 650+ for $59 and that has a $10 rebate.

See FW thread HERE

I recently bought this router and I'm returning it. The router makes this high frequency hissing sound. I've found from other users that it does this as well. Certainly if your router is located near your computer the cpu noise may drown it out. Also make sure the 650pc card has 256 encryption. The card I got for it didn't have it, so the 256enc feature was nulled.

I found the instructions and the tech support very very basic. I also had huge issues installing the 520 pc card on winxp. I never got it to work. Perhaps the 650 is better?

Just thought I would chime in.

You have to get the DWL-650+(PLUS) or the DWL-520+(PLUS) as those are the 22MB and 256bit encryption. They have the regualr 520 and 650 cards that are only 11MB and 128 bit encryption.

This is a pretty good deal, but not as good as the one I posted last month from Costco. I got it for $150+shipping - two $30 rebates (one from D-ling, and one from Costco). Ended up being about $115 after shipping. This combo works awesome too, but it was kinda confusing cofiguring the card at school where there are multiple Access Points. I used the Netgear combo for a few weeks, but I think this is a bit faster, not to mention tha the router looks really cool. The Linksys stuff seems to have some flaws.
