Do you guys have ANY scruples? This is clearly a misuse of coupons. It says so right in their policy, as Scrapster pointed out. You're getting away with it FOR NOW because you're taking advantage of some really retarded, incompetent CSR's. I know, Staples is a major corp and I don't feel sorry for them anymore than you do. But imagine if you owned a business like this, would you want your coupons to be used in this way? No way in hell. I couldn't bring myself to call up Staples and try this scam err deal... I'd feel like too much of a weasel.

Just talked to my local Staples. The CSR said you can use X off Y as long as the sum of Y doesn't exceed your purchase price. Then she said she'd check with the manager to make sure. The manager said only one coupon per order. Grr.......

Got two KDS monitors and it worked. I will keep the 19" ($356 with tax), nice picture, pleasant for eyes. Somehow the white is not as white as on my previous Hitachi 751. First attempt to correct it by contrast/brightness failed. Need to read the instructions. No problems with geometry as I was afraid. Smells a lot like new plastic gadget...

The 17" ($190) will neeed to find its way out of the door, I bought it to get the attache with it which I need.

I am sorry for late comers that this deal is over but on the other hand, I returned to this forum on 11/18, the day after Mercata dollars ended :-(((
