Hot deal at Best Buy . . ..

They had this game package [Heretic 2, Battlezone 2, and Sin] for fifteen dollars at my local Best Buy in Arlington Heights, by Chicago. I checked BestBuy.com, and they have a similar offer there, but they have hexen 2 instead of battlezone 2 . . .. A great deal if you've missed these games when they were new . . . [except for Sin, That game is craptastic.] Also, they had a bunch of games like Aliens vs. Predator, Grim Fandango, and Heavy Gear 2 for $10~$15 there . . ..

I feel like I work for Best Buy . . ..

Most people who say Sin is crap never played it. Or gave up on it with the initial buggy release. I have played that game to death over the years and it still ranks near the top of my personal favorites.

How do we find this on their site? I did a quick search and only found Heretic II for $15.00. No bundle with Sin.

homerj, thanks for the post. I just live in Palatine. I was hoping that there weren't any fellow Anandtechers nearby.

That store seems pretty lame to me. Many shelves in the computer area are pretty bare. I wonder what the deal is. Somebody told me that they were more of a clearance store and carried leftover stuff from other stores, but I don't know if I can believe that.

try the local sams club. if ur a member they have similar ones for 12.99 . and whole lot o other games. battlezone2 is damn fun game.

Don't think about buying Thief: BUY IT!! Awesome game. It's a shame that Looking Glass Studios died because they produced some tremendous games.
