Odd bob4432 and cuttergallery only getting a memory clock at 560 MHz, anybody else noticing this?
560 is the stock mem speed on the X800XT PE. The ATI site specs are wrong.

isn't the memory speed doubled? so 560=1.2? i just don't know why on that one page it says 575, which i really don't care about, but that is what ati says...personally i will not o/c because i don't need the extra 5-10fps or move up in resolution, 1280x960 works perfect, and after that point i will get into ram shortages, and i am not buying another 1GB for this rig.

bob4432,
I have ? for you . How is your Antec 350W P/S holding up with your new card? We have almost the same specs and I am wondering if I have enough juice for this card?

i have seen quite a few pics of the ati ones online lately as i did a search on google. most of the ones i viewed that had the purple power connector did in fact have the same type of writing in the same spot as mine....weird.

If your system is not fast enough it will decrease the performance of the video card, and at high resolution, ram use increases and if you use the page file you take a performance hit as well.

so far so good, not weird shutdowns or anything. and i have taxed the card pretty well with benching it since it got it and i have played bf2 @ 1280X960 4aa everything on high and had no problems, except i did hit the pagefile. this was on my dedicated server with nobody on but i was able to do anything i needed. i definatly will not add anymore hardware to this setup and will probably keep and eye out for a good price on a good psu, but for the time being, all is well
